Our Caregivers

We are devoted to providing the most professional, reliable and friendly caregivers and home health aids in the industry. Our caregivers truly have a passion for caring.  We look for and hire mature-minded caregivers that have real life experiences in caring, that are independent thinkers, and have shown reliability and compassion throughout their life.  Often times our certified caregivers have cared for their own loved ones and have a desire to continue to help others, for they in turn benefit from knowing that they have made a difference in the lives of others.  Most importantly, we would never hire a caregiver that we wouldn’t trust to care for our own loved ones.

All of our caregivers are employees and are bonded and insured with workers’ compensation, liability, disability and unemployment insurance.

Our Hiring Procedures

• Personal and Professional references are contacted
• Criminal Background Checks are completed
• A personal interview is conducted
• Urine drug screening is completed
• Department of Motor Vehicles record is checked
• Social Security number verification
• Tuberculosis testing is required

Our Certified Caregiver Training

We lead the industry in caregiver training with our exclusive Certified Caregiver (CC) program. This includes the study and testing of essential subjects from communication, personal care, mental health, and disability issues to nutritional needs of the elderly. Employees complete this program within the first 90 days of employment.  Our Certified Caregivers are also required to receive ongoing training to continue their knowledge as a caregiver. Our caregivers attend in-services in areas such as:

• Infection Control
• Nutrition and Cooking
• Caring for a client with Alzheimer’s
• Death and Dying
• Safety and Housekeeping
